Friday night "Styr" was really hopping. Our membership came out in mass to enjoy a terrific evening of friendship, camaraderie and laughter. The bar was packed, the music was very enjoyable and the dance floor was filled with members and their guests. Again, everybody here in Addison looks forward to our Friday Night at Styr and we are never disappointed!

This past Sunday Addison held their annual Couples Club Championships followed by a delicious Cocktail Party & Buffet feast held in "Styr". Karen & Kevin, our Co-Directors of Golf, here in Addison Reserve, formulated an interesting 2 Person Pinehurst Format, gross & net, for all our couples to enjoy. Our participants competed in 3 different flights for the honor of Club Champions for the 2019-2020 season.

Sunday evening our club had a delicious buffet dinner in "Taste" our main dining room. There were 5 different carving stations for our membership to enjoy comprising of steaks, pasta, stir fry and turkey. There were salads, veggies, salman and more. Everything was delicious and over the top as usual. Of course, everyone finished off their dinners with some of Dana's Delights consisting of Banana Pudding, Sugar Free Pies, Cheese Cakes and Assorted Fruit Tarts. Personally, we look forward to desserts most of all. But that's why we are in the gym every morning, both of us, working our tails off to stay slim & fit. "Love this Addison."

Tuesday our ladies played For Pink to benefit a cause near and dear to so many of our hearts, Breast Cancer Awareness. 178 ladies played a step aside, best ball format of competitive golf. The day started with a delicious full breakfast in "Taste", our main dining room, followed by the 18 holer's teeing off at 8:30, followed by the 9 holer's at 10:00. Smoothies were served at the turn for those who needed extra strength for the competition. After the rounds, our ladies adjourned to "Taste" to enjoy a sumptuous lunch buffet and awards presentations. It was an amazing day for a very worthwhile cause. Those who participated had a grand time.

UNDERGROUND DINNER
Addison Reserve, in their effort to always try something new and
innovative,
opened it's kitchen to a few lucky members for a special "Underground Dinner" where Chef Zach Bell and his team served an 11 course dining experience in the heart of his Addison Kitchen. The meal was prepared right in front of our members prior to being served. What a treat for the lucky few. This is Addison, thinking outside the "box"!

Saturday morning was extremely drizzly on and off until it eventually rained very hard. Cherie Gross had just had her long red hair colored, so using quick thinking she came up with a solution for her and her teammates! It should soon become all the rage here in Addison Reserve!
