THANKSGIVING IN AND AROUND ADDISON RESERVE !
Thanksgiving is always a fun time here at Addison as well as all around the United States. It's a time for friends and family above all else. Naturally, eating is a big part of the holiday and on that note I have a little poem to share with all of you who I'm sure can relate.

Addison held it's 2nd Annual Harvest Market. Booths were set up offering spiced and roasted nuts, infused oils and vinegars, spice mixes, local breads, jams. For the kids, there was a petting zoo, face painting, balloon artist, arts and crafts and pie baking. It was a great way to spend a Friday with something for everyone in the family!

FRIDAY NIGHT AT STYR !
This Friday night was a little unusual for "Styr". Yes, we had great hors
d'oeuvres and great music provided by none other than Chenzo from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, but "Styr" was actually quiet. We are sure it had a lot to do with all the food we all consumed on Thursday, but it seemed strange. We heard that there were 160 people dinning at our new eatery "The Grill". We wonder if that will be the new normal?????

SUNDAY FOOTBALL AT THE NEW
"LIFESTYLE COMPLEX"
Sunday football at Addison has moved venues to "The Grill". Over 75 fans sat inside our Grill area as well as the bar to watch 5 different games on the TV's. The featured game was "The Hall Of Shame" game between the New Jersey Jets and the previously winless
Cincinnati
Bengals where the Bengals won their first game of the year 22-6. It was difficult for every New York fan to watch. While the Jets were going down in defeat, our New York Giants didn't fare any better in their loss to The Green Bay Packers, 31-13.
In the bar area, Lou Shook, Barney Guttman, Craig Stein & Rich Guttman, were cheering their
Pittsburgh
Steelers to victory over The
Cleveland
Browns, 20-13. Also in the bar area, many devoted Florida fans watched as their Miami Dolphins defeated the
Philadelphia
Eagles, 37-31. The atmosphere at "The Grill" was amazing for football fans all over. All we needed were some better teams to support. Anyway, come on down next week and join the fun, it's great.

SUNDAY BARBECUE AT THE GRILL
What beautiful weather we had last Sunday! It was a balmy 85 Degrees with a cool breeze. Everyone wanted to spend the day outside in the sunshine or in the pool. Many sports fans even moved outside for the Football, since "The Grill" has so many televisions. What A Day!

On Monday, Addison hosted a Pap Corps Card Party for the benefit of cancer research. Also included was a Boutique and a beautiful luncheon. This is a charity that unfortunately is close to many of our hearts and minds. We, at Addison look forward to this event every year.

A LITTLE CONSTRUCTION NEVER HURT ANYONE!
It's almost complete! We really just need a topcoat and some lines. It appears bigger than the parking lot we once had, but maybe it's an illusion, anyway "if you build them, they will come." It will be really nice to be able to drive through Addison without worrying about the cars parked in the street. Hurray for us!!!!!!!

As for our Addison Reserve real estate update, we now have 38 homes on the market for sale. Our prices range from $300,000-$2,975,000. There are 13 estate homes and 25 zero lot line homes of which 29 are golf and 9 are sports memberships. In the last 5 weeks, 6 homes in Addison Reserve have gone into contract. This past week a lovely 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, great room home on Trieste Place, which was asking $429,000, also went into contract. There are lots of showings and we are getting buyers who are now buying.
