"It has now been just over 30 days since we took possession of our new home, 7886 Villa D'Este Way, in the Addison Reserve Community.
To say that this was a good decision to move to Addison Reserve, is truly understated.
Our prior residences were in significantly great locations:
San Francisco, New Orleans, Manhattan and Breakers West in West Palm Beach.
Each location on their own provided us with a superlative lifestyle for raising our three children (now adults with families of their own).
However, none of our prior residences provided a destination that afforded us with a Community with unfound beauty in its landscaping, unparalleled activities in food, wine and social activities and an exercise component, 2

to none.
We were originally introduced to Addison Reserve by my old college buddy who in turn made an introduction to Larry and Cherie Gross of Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate and residents of Addison Reserve.
On the first day, they showed us several homes, whereupon we made an initial offer to purchase 7886 Villa D'Este Way the next day.
Their knowledge of Addison Reserve, its residents and the Real Estate process made this an easy transaction for all parties involved.
To say the least, all turned out well with the purchase and we took possession of our new home on December 16, 2019.
This experience has proven to be life-changing in our mode of daily living. In my background in Hospitality, Real Estate-Property Management and supervision of our former Homeowners Association, in addition to my wife's background in Education in San Francisco, New York and Wellington, Florida, we can truly say that we have indeed found paradise in such an exceptional Community, Addison Reserve."

VILLA D' ESTE WAY CELEBRATION !
The community parties have begun! It's really nice to get together with the members of your community at least once a year. We in Villa D'Este are fortunate that we are able to do this twice, Halloween and this past Thursday night. Neighbors meet neighbors, which is always important, especially for the new residents. We had a wonderful
sit-down
dinner in the Addison's Private Dinning Room. The
appetizers
were numerous.The food was great, a choice of lobster, chicken or salmon. Drinks flowed. We thought we knew everyone, but their were a few newbees to meet. A great time was had by all!

Friday night at "Styr", always a popular venue, was no different this past weekend! Music with Pam & Dave was great and so were the dancers. There is always a nice selection of hors d'oeuvres and naturally the
refreshments are
enjoyed
throughout the evening.
If it's a full course dinner that you are interested in, visit the high-tops, the bar, or the patio, tapas & Sushi is always available as well. Many families retire to the main dining room for a quieter
atmosphere
as well and now there is always the new "Grill" to visit for indoor and outdoor eating.

Seafood Extravaganza!
Another favorite venue is our seafood extravaganza. Our membership always enjoy a delicious buffet of all-you-can-eat fresh seafood at the clubhouse. Stone Crabs, Lobster, Shrimp, Salmon and Sushi are among their favorites. The dinning room was also all decked out for the occasion and the evening was a total success!

A TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP
The past weekend, Addison Tennis held their Singles Championship. Congratulations to Club Champion Norm Pappas, who defeated Ed Turetzky in the final! They both demonstrated how well they can play, but congratulations to our winner!

THE DELRAY ART FESTIVAL
This past weekend, on Atlantic Ave. in downtown Delray, the Art Festival was held. As always, there was plenty of
interesting art available to both admire and naturally to buy. There was also yummy goodies to eat.
Addison Reserve is so well located to all kinds of fun!

As for our weekly Addison Reserve real estate update, we now have 37 homes on the market for sale. Our prices range from $300,000-$2,895,000. There are 13 estate homes for sale and 24 zero lot line homes, of which 30 have golf and 7 have sports memberships. This week, no homes went under contract and no homes closed, despite an many of showings. One home however did come on the market, a sports home in Montecito with 4 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms, a 2 story Bardini at $445,000.
