CORNERSTONE BANK GROWTH CONTINUES

WITH BEAVER LAKE BRANCH

Cornerstone Bank headquartered in York, Nebraska, will be breaking ground on a new branch bank in Beaver Lake, Nebraska, this spring. The single-story building consisting of 6,600 sq. ft. will serve customers from the Beaver Lake recreational area, as well as customers from Murray, Nebraska, and will be located close to a main north-south thoroughfare Highway #75 between Plattsmouth and Nebraska City. The branch will have two drive-up lanes and an ATM drive-up lane for customer convenience. It is expected that the facility will be complete and ready for operation by March 1, 2019.

INVOLVEMENT

Many Jackson-Jackson Architects attended the 2018 Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Nebraska Chapter Product Show and Dinner. They were able to attend educational seminars and interact with exhibitors. The event also included a presentation on the history and a tour of the Durham Museum. Jackson-Jackson Project Architect, April Kick, AIA, serves as secretary of the CSI Nebraska Chapter.

HAPPENINGS

Jack H. Jackson, CEO, visited the new school of Architecture Facility at Kansas State University in February, while in Manhattan, Kansas, for a fraternity reunion. The impressive building has numerous open design labs for hundreds of students, adjacent critique rooms and a full wood and metal shop on the lower lever. Ribbon cutting for the new facility occurred October 13, 2017.
