It is the pleasure of AIA Indianapolis and the IMA's Design Arts Society to host Reed Kroloff, leading commentator on architecture and urban design and a founding principal at Jones/Kroloff in Washington D.C. In a career spanning 25 years, Kroloff has served as Director of the Cranbrook Academy of Art and Art Museum and Editor-in-Chief of Architecture magazine. As both a critic and an educator, Kroloff has been a leading voice in architecture education and in global print media. His commentary has reached both architectural and non-architectural audiences, influencing students and practitioners alike. In this unique program, Kroloff will be discussing how a sense of place influences modernism in American domestic architecture. This lecture is being co-sponsored by the Design Arts Society of the IMA and is free to attend.
