O'Neal is a retired engineer.  He started photography before he can remember, and some of the images offered for sale were taken nearly 25 years ago.  O'Neal grew up in the country, still lives in the country, and has a fondness for nature.  All of these things have an influence on the type of pictures he takes.

ideaXfactory
         
     IdeaXfactory  presents Type-In and Neon Art Mash Up  for the Aug. 5 First Friday Art Walk. The installation includes eight typewriters made in the 1930s to 1990s set up in period furniture workstations. Combining new technology with old, two typewriters from 1938 are connected to Russ RuBert's neon art Harmonic Wall. Using the sound of typing, visitors can activate bands of bright colored neon. Sections of the neon art wall are also lit by waving hands above a motion-sensitive musical led board and by painting at easels with the Sonic Paintbrush

Mane Salon and Social House,  a proud Art Walk sponsor, presents Arrowhead Art from the Ozarks by Michael W. Clark. The Ozarks has some of the best chert, flint, and obsidian in a wide range of colors and hardnesses, Clark says. He combines these artifacts, gathered from area fields and creeks, into framed art pieces.

The Calaboose, Springfield's original jail, was built in 1891 and used until the 1940s.
