Do you have a heart for equipping teachers to teach our children today? We are excited to invite you to participate in a new SWOT on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on behalf of
Christian Educators Association International (www.ceai.org)
. While many Christians are abandoning public education, the reality is that 90% of American children attend public schools. As most of these kids will never find their way into a church, the public schools may be the most strategic mission field in our nation. This organization believes the most effective way to reach them is through missional educators. However, many Christian public school educators remain trapped in ignorance and fear about issues of faith on campus. Their vision in Orange County is to create a model platform of equipping and inspiring educators to bring about school transformation through effective witness for God's love and truth in the public schools.
Some of their partner ministries are Youth for Christ, Gateways to Better Education, Moms in Prayer, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Release Time Christian Education, Coaches of Influence, and California School Project.
Their BIG QUESTION is:
What would be the most appropriate strategy to incorporate and empower the local community of business leaders, community leaders, parents, educators and public officials to support, serve, and equip teachers, administrators and other influencers of public schools who have a heart to bring their faith onto their campuses?
Please reply and answer. As in the past, please pray about your participation:
YES, I CAN ATTEND
