Another great year
at Primrose Farm!

As the year comes to a close at the farm, we are becoming quite sentimental over what a wonderful year we have experienced. There have been so many new and exciting events, programs and animals that we have welcomed to Primrose this year. We have also had the privilege of meeting so many friendly visitors, old and new, who have made this year even more memorable than we could have ever imagined. I figured with the holidays nearing and thanksgiving peeking right around the corner, what better way to end the year than to reminisce and remind ourselves of how thankful we are to take part in such a lovely and welcoming community.

The farm is always such a vibrant place during special events, and this year was no exception. We kicked off our special events this year with our annual Springtime on the Farm event, where visitors from around the area came to celebrate the passing of winter, the welcoming of our spring arrivals! This year, we welcomed our calf Peach, our two lambs (Simba and Seamus) and our Nigerian Dwarf Goats (Merle and Norman) to the farm family. Visitors were also eager to celebrate Grace's first birthday, our newest Heifer. We made sure to end the season with a bang, hosting our annual Farm Frolic as fall was fast approaching. The heat was in full force that day, but it didn't stop our wonderful visitors for coming out and enjoying an afternoon of corn cannons, animal visits, and delicious food!

This year we had the pleasure of experiencing some new programs, while also enjoying some of our annual programs thatwe love. This summer we kicked off our new adultprogram Primrose Palette, where farm visitors and art
Primrose Palette
enthusiasts alike came together for a relaxing night of painting and beverages. The Primrose barn gave a lovely ambiance to the event and brought people from all walks of life under one roof. While our new programs saw some new and eclectic visitors, our annual programs can be a time for us to visit with the people and families who have called Primrose Farm home for years. Our Moonlight Hayrides were a perfect opportunity to experience just that! Watching the sunset over the beautiful landscape, while families huddled close and roasted marshmallows over the bonfire was an absolute perfect way to finish out the season.

We are extremely grateful for the wonderful year we have shared with you all. Whether you came here for the programs, the special events, or just to visit with the animals, we enjoyed every minute of your time. Although the farm slows down as the temperature drops, make sure to check in to the farm Facebook page every so often for some lovely pictures and updates of your favorite animals. If you are especially missing the farm, don't be afraid to stop by in the winter to visit with the animals. The farm is open year round to the public! Thanks so much again for a lovely year, and we can't wait to see you at Primrose soon.
