September is here and it is going to be a September to remember. In the Arts Education world in New Jersey the next month is beyond busy. Here’s what is happening:
The NJ Arts Education Partnership has a new name and a new look.
We are now
Arts Ed NJ – much simpler and more to the point. And we have a new tag line – Many Partners. One Voice. We like it a lot and we hope you do too. The new logo reflects the Arts Ed Now look but stands alone.
Arts in Education Week starts on the 11th.
Check out ways to celebrate this week in this issue of The Beat. And please share all of your activities with us. Be sure to check out the updated
ARTS ED NOW website for additional tools.
The Eagleton Institute of Rutgers University releases the findings of a public opinion survey next week.
This new survey reveals valuable information on the public’s view of the importance of arts education in our children’s lives. There is lots of great information in this report to share and to use in our efforts to shine a light on arts education in New Jersey.
The 2017 Arts Education Census Report hits this month on September 20th.
The report – Arts Ed Now – Every Child, Every School is a 360 degree look at what is happening in our schools with regard to arts education. The report reveals findings and makes recommendations in the areas of; policy, students, educators, resources, community and arts integration.
And the month ends with the
2017 New Jersey ARTS ED SUMMIT featuring the one and only – Sir Ken Robinson.
Keep an eye on your inbox this month as we will be sending out exciting announcements each week.
New Jersey continues to lead the way on so many fronts and Arts Education is at the top of the list.
Join in the effort – be an ambassador. Arts Ed NJ – Arts Ed Now
