While Labor Day marks the end of summer, great things are coming this fall at Central Farm Markets. We start with the 5th Annual Bake Bethesda a Pie Contest - a fundraiser for Manna Food Center - which is on Sunday, August 31 at Bethesda Central. We hope you come out and support this great event and help us fight hunger in our communities!
We want to give a shout out to Aberrahmane Neggaz of Chocotenango, who is currently in Atlanta competing in the 2014 Pastry Live for Chocolatier of the Year! This is an invitation competition, so you must be top notch in your specialty to be invited. Diana will feature Chocotenango in Dishing the Dirt in the near future. Dishing the Dirt is a great way to learn about our vendors and get the inside scoop on their businesses. You'll also find recipes, special deals and more each week - so be sure to check it out!
Finally, we have a special fall event coming up. We will officially announce it next week so stay tuned for more exciting fall food fun coming your way.
