The Book Cart Ministry Needs Your Used Books!
The Book Cart Ministry is calling for your books! We welcome donations on an ongoing basis and are currently seeking new titles. We rotate out books every several months to make room for new titles. Gently used books may be dropped of during the week at the Church Office or on Sunday at the Book Cart location on the patio. Please check what you have read at home and might share with others. Money raised through the Book Cart Ministry helps support other ministries on campus. For questions, please contact Rev. Vicki at
Matching Gift Fund Inspires Support; Gifts of All Sizes Needed, Appreciated
The How Firm Our Foundation campaign continues to generate wonderful success. So far 168 gifts totaling over
$9.2 million have been received. We are deeply grateful for everyone's support. With everyone's help we can make our $11.6 million goal.

The matching gift challenge announced in April has so far inspired 89 new gifts. Every dollar committed by July 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a maximum of $500,000.Remember, all gifts PAID over 1 to 5 years qualify for the match!

If you've been thinking about your gift we encourage you to finalize your commitment soon. We hope to reach the $10 million mark later this summer so we can authorize work on the sanctuary construction drawings.

To learn more or if you are ready to make a gift, please call the Church Office or visit the information table on the patio. Our goal is to achieve 100 percent participation in the campaign.

To view the Honor Roll of Donors, which is the list of all who have given thus far, please head to the campaign website:

Still An Opportunity to Share Your Talents!
Summer Music at All Saints
Summer worship at All Saints is always a fun and exciting experience. Each year at our 10am summer services we present a broad variety of musical styles and players. This year we're planning a Summer of Sharing Our Gifts. We need your help.

All that we are and all that we have are gifts from God. This summer, you are invited to share your musical gifts in worship at All Saints in response to God's generosity to you.

I'd like to ask everyone, of all ages, who play instruments, sing and have musical gifts of any kind, to participate in the music of our 10am Sunday worship services. If you are a pianist, a violinist, a guitarist, a singer - or even play the saw - will you tell me? I'm putting together not only soloists, but ensembles and a summer choir as well. Whatever level you feel comfortable as a musician, whether it's a solo or playing in a group, I need your help! This is a great opportunity for you to share your gifts in a wonderful, safe and meaningful way!

God's Peace,
Steve O'Connor ( or 969-4771)

P.S. Give me a call, email or grab me between services and let's talk more about how we can make All Saints' SUMMER of SHARING OUR GIFTS the best that it can be! I can't wait to make music together!!
Bell Tower Construction Continues on Schedule

Critical work continues on the Bell Tower. This past week the crew focused on forming some of the columns and footings and setting the rebar. A concrete pour is scheduled for early July. Here's a sneak peek behind the construction fence for the last week of June.

During the construction we will need to enter and exit the church using the door on the front right hand side of the church (closest to the Parish House) and the Vesting Room door.

You'll also notice some stained glass windows have been boarded up to preserve them in place during construction.

If you have any questions or concerns about this project, please call the church office (805) 969-4771

Organ Update: Hard Work Underway; Town Hall Set for Fall
For the past several months, our leadership has been working on key configuration issues for the Sanctuary, a very important aspect being the location of the new tracker organ. A team from organ maker CB Fisk visited in late January and we learned that the location of the organ would significantly impact the quality of the sound.

The location of the new organ has been narrowed to two locations, each with its own advantages and challenges. One is at the front (east or alter-end) of the church, and the other is at the back (west) end of the church. These options reflect a range of trade-offs as to likely acoustic and liturgical quality, integration with the internal church architecture, and consistency with the historical look and feel of the space.

We considered holding a Town Hall meeting before summer to get your feedback but we find ourselves a few weeks short of being fully prepared to do this. So, rather than do this during summer when many are away, we are targeting fall for the meeting. We are planning a brief survey afterward to gather your feedback. We look forward to seeking your input before a final decision is made about the organ.

We are really excited about how the project is unfolding and about our fundraising progress!
