While enjoying a visiting Pastor's sermon in Foley, AL. A few weeks ago,I took to heart his wise words:
"On November 9, 2016, half of America will wake up EXCITED and half of America will awaken sad!
BUT it makes no difference to God-He still and always will be KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!!!"
After all, beloved, WE ARE "STRANGERS AND PILGRIMS ON THE EARTH!!!!"

I watched and enjoyed an amazing finish to a college football game yesterday-we lost and they won-CONGRATULATIONS brother and friend Ronnie!!!
50% went home happy, the other 50% went home dismayed.

I AWAKENED (PTL FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!) this morning to the news that one of our members is in the hospital-FORREST HILL, JR.
It is too early to call but I will check on him as soon as the sun comes up.
The GREAT news is that the sun WILL come up today!!!!
TODAY, if you find yourself on this side of the ground, REJOICE!!!
IF you are NOT in the hospital or in jail and/or suffering, REJOICE!!
My son, Joshua, reminded me in a visit last week that people all over the world go about their daily lives in war torn countries.
It is "NORMAL" for them to drive to work with bullets flying about them and pass buildings still smoldering from recent bombings.
Even WE, in whatever state of mind or stage of life WE live in, after a while/eventually becomes a state of normalcy.
I find this to still be true:
"EVERYONE IS CRAZY BUT ME AND THEE, AND SOMETIMES I WONDER ABOUT THEE!!??"
The Apostle Paul said it best:
Philippians 4:11 (KJV)
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
"FOR I HAVE LEARNED, IN WHATSOEVER STATE I AM, THEREWITH TO BE CONTENT!"
