OPERATIONAL ALERT STATUS
HIGH RISK
Kentucky State is open, but activities are heavily restricted.
We’re almost there, Breds
This semester is almost over. Just a few more hours of finals and this historical semester is complete.

Finish your finals strong so we can use the Christmas break to restore and focus on the spring semester.

The Kentucky State campus community held the number of cases to 133 for the semester. Of 115 student cases, all were asymptomatic with no hospitalizations. Of 18 employee cases, there was one hospitalization. On Friday, all cases will be recovered. No students or employees are quarantined at this time.

Students and employees, please continue to practice safe habits while away from campus. The recent news of upcoming vaccines is exciting, but let’s not lose our focus because of it. We must double-down and remain more vigilant than ever. Cases in Kentucky and across the nation continue to rise to record highs and many predict the most grim winter in our lifetimes.

Please, Breds, wear a mask. Practice social distancing of at least six feet. Wash your hands often. Stay home as much as possible. Sanitize your living and working areas often. Stay home if you don’t feel well. Let’s continue to stop the spread. Stay healthy so we can see your wonderful faces in the spring.
