CPTV's Craft Beer and Chili Challenge
Another fantastic "Party with a Purpose."

The CPTV Craft Beer and Chili Challenge returns to Rentschler Field on Sunday, August 12th with even more chili and even more beer!  We will be serving up a mind boggling selection of craft beers from all over the world paired with some of the best chili Connecticut has to offer.  Are you up to the challenge?  Get your tickets NOW!

 




Need a safe ride home?


For the first time, CPTV is partnering with AmRide to offer the Safe Ride Home Program.  AmRide's bonded professional drivers will drive you home in YOUR car for $44.95, up to 10 miles. Additional mileage available for an extra fee.  Go to BeerandChili.org for tickets. 

 
Craft Beer

Blue Point Brewing Company will be on site to defend their 2011 First Place Title along with multiple selections from more than 60 different breweries.  More breweries are still being added!  Your General Admission ticket price includes beer samples from each different brewery as well as chili samples from some of Connecticut's best chefs!  You can see the full listing of participating breweries at

Chili Challenge

Last year, The Yarde House Tavern took first place.  Will they win again?  YOU BE THE JUDGE!  We will have several restaurants competing for the title of Connecticut Public Broadcasting's Chili King.  Your General Admission ticket price also includes all the chili you can handle.  

In addition, we have a Designated Driver ticket that gets you all the chili samples without filling up on the beer, if that's what you are looking for.  It's always a good idea to have a safe ride home!
And that's not all!

As if all the beer and chili wasn't enough, we will have entertainment provided by DJ Darth Fader and vendors from around the state, including The CT Beer Trail, Birdhouses Plus, Pan De Oro, Port O Pong, Yelp , 31 Gifts and so many more.  The Craft Beer and Chili Challenge promises to be a fantastic party.  Don't miss it!
