HONORING MRS. BARTH

Fr. DeVous would like to honor Mrs. Susan Barth for her 48 years of dedication to St. Joseph School at the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, May 20th. We would love to see many SJS families at this Mass to show gratitude to Mrs. Barth.

FAMILIA FLYER
Familia is a twice a month Bible Study for women. The mission of this group is to strengthen families by helping women live their purpose to marriage and motherhood. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
SJS AAA SCHOLARSHIPS

If your child is currently in 7th or 8th grade, please check out the link below for the opportunity to receive a $500 Scholarship. Please follow the instructions on the link and complete no later than May 16.


SUMMER TUTORING

Some students will be required or recommended to be tutored over the summer so that they will be well prepared to enter the next grade level. You will be receiving information in the mail if your child's teacher feels the need for them to be tutored over the summer. If tutoring is required for your child, your child must complete at least 20 hours of tutoring by a certified teacher. Below is a list of SJS teachers that plan to tutor over the summer.

SJS CAFETERIA NEWS

All lunch accounts must be current with no negative balances by  Monday May 21st. 
A refund form is attached to receive lunch money back If you have an 8th grader or any other student leaving at the end of the school year. This form must be filled out by a parent and sent to the Diocese in order to get the refund. All other student funds will transfer into next year.

2018-2019 GYM CLOTHES

Please click the link below to order your child's gym uniform for the 2018-2019 school year. This gym uniform will be worn all day long for students in grades K-8. All K-8 students will be required to wear the gym uniform on their specific gym day. Gym shirts, shorts, and sweatpants with our new school logo are available. Sample sizes of the gym uniform can be found outside of the school office, please stop in to check sizes before ordering. This on-line order form will be available until May 30th.

FLEA MARKET
The St. Joseph Annual Indoor Flea Market will be held on Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Noll Hall. Please click the link below for more information!

HONORS BREAKFAST

Students in grades 5-8 who received honors at least two of the first three quarters will be invited to a special P.T.O. breakfast on May 21st at 8:30 a.m. Invitations were passed out this week.
ROLLER SKATING PARTY

St. Joseph School won a ROLLER SKATING PARTY at Jimmie's Rollerdrome in Elsmere. Please join us on Sunday, May 20 from 5-7 p.m. Let's show off our roller skating skills that we have been learning in gym class this past month.

SPIRIT SHOP OPEN

The Spirit Shop is open one last time prior to Summer. It includes several new items as well as gear specific to fall sports (volleyball and golf). It will be open until Sunday, May 20th. The apparel will likely not be delivered until summer break so we will have pickup times available at the school or you can simply select to have the items shipped to your home.
Please remember that all sales are final so check the sizing charts before finalizing your selection. If you do have a sizing issue, please feel free to use the SJS Apparel Exchange page on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/1629980407046458/  Some items are already available.
