Please join us for our upcoming October mixer, hosted by Monarch Beach Promenade, located on the southeast corner of Niguel Road and Camino del Avion. The mixer will be held inside Brio Tuscany Grille
 
With 3 great dining experiences and 10 unique shops and services and the newly remodeled Monarch Beach Market, the center offers a perfect place to mingle with your fellow Chamber Members. 
 
Attendees will have the opportunity to network, discuss their business with others and generate new business leads - while enjoying delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks from our generous host. There will be a number of raffle items provided by participating stores from Monarch Beach Promenade. 
 
We encourage you to bring a guest to learn more about the Chamber and meet fellow business leaders.

Fish for Life is a non profit organization headquartered in Southern California with a charter to enhance the lives of special needs individuals by inviting selected groups to enjoy a complimentary half day fishing trip on the sea. This program is designed to provide love and inspiration to a multitude of special needs people while teaching fishing skills and ministering to the value of life.

Tidepool Terrors

Sunday, October 27th; 10am - 3pm

 

A family-friendly day of Halloween fun!  Listen to a spooky story, make a creepy critter craft, and hunt to find Halloween clues throughout the Ocean Institute.  Participate in our spooky science labs:

  • Tidepool Terrors - Find out what tidepool creatures have the best costumes for camouflage.
  • Vampires of the Deep - Discover the unusual adaptations of the vampire squid and other deep-sea creatures.
  • Ghastly Goo Science Lab - Make some ghastly goo to take home along with tips to keep our oceans clean.
  • Cow Eye Dissection - Examine the unique structures and features of a mammal's eye.
At 1:00pm, there will also be a kids' costume contest and prizes for the most scary, best ocean-themed and most eco-friendly costumes. Admission is $6.50/adult; $4.50/child. Members and kids (4-12) in costume are free!
