Dear Members,
Its finally summer and with the official changing of the seasons, we're ready for all of the fun in the sun that comes with this time of year! As always, our team has been hard at work sharing the stories and news of our many Chamber members, most often through our social media outlets, website, and to the many visitors that stop by our office.
In addition, we want to make sure to highlight a few of our other current programs, projects and upcoming news, including:
 2018 Membership Harvest Celebration: Be sure to save the date for our third and final major event for 2018- the Membership Harvest Celebration. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 26 (location TBD). See below for more info about this year's event as well as photos from last year!

Advertising Summer Special:
Our E-News Program is popular for members looking to send a tailored message about their programs & services, people, products, or property, by sending their information to a targeted business audience. And be sure to take advantage of our summer special for this program (read on for additional details).
The Stats:
According to Constant Contact reporting data, updated in May 2018, the Industry Average Open Rate for Marketing and Advertising services is only 11.22%. While other Membership-based Organizations and Associations have an average of just 25.28% for their open rates, the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce has proudly maintained an average Open Rate of 30-32% for all digital communications, over the last 3+ years!

Thank you again to all of our members and partners who joined us for our June BAH Mixer! A special thank you goes out to our host, Waters Edge for a great event!
Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy tours of the house and a presentation by owners Don and Karen Rayburn.

Owners Don and Karen Rayburn welcome guests to the event. In addition, Don and Karen shared about the history of the property and their happiness about being part of the Chamber community.
It was a great night for guests to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of Seneca Lake.

#WhereAreWe The GACoC began a summer-long Where Are We series. Every week throughout the summer we'll post a picture of a member business on Facebook and the first person who comments on the post with the correct location will win a prize! Our first location was Long Pier Ice Cream & Rentals!
