A NOTE FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CEO

This was a special week when several of our business ladies attended the chamber's Women's Conference. This conference was put together by our Events Manager, Bobbi Kellough, who literally put all she had into the planning and scheduled of this conference. Briana Hood, our Workforce Manager, also assisted. I hope those who attended had a fantastic time and I know you got something very special from the content. Thank you to our sponsors and our speakers for making this a successful conference.

This is a special time of year for the chamber as we seek nominations for our Board of Directors. Included in this newsletter is the nomination form for our next term of directors. The term is 3 years and can be repeated for another 3-year term beginning in January. If you are excited about our community and want to be included in the activities with the chamber and our hometown, serving on the board may be right for you or someone you know.

Please take the time to fill out the nomination form and return it to me by Monday, Oct. 16, 2017.

I appreciate all of our directors, their dedication to the chamber, our membership and our community.
