New Board of Directors
 
  Valerie Escatel, Valley Bank & Trust, VP, Branch Manager/ Lender
Valerie has served as a member of several nonprofits, a chamber ambassador, a small businesses resource center advisor and facilitator as well as a member of educational committees and governing boards.  She also brings experience with fundraising efforts, financial review and strategic planning.  She has served on the board of the Fort Lupton chamber in years past as well as the 27J Board of Education.  She currently serves on the Small Business Advisory Board and the Brighton Economic Development executive board.
 
  Paula Fenn, Halo Branded Products
Paula has been in the role of leadership for NAWBO(National Association for Women Business Owners) and on a few Boards ie the Hamilton County Humane Society(a nationally recognized no kill shelter), for 2 years,  WINK (Women Interested in Networking Knowledge) a not for profit organization for women needing mentoring, education and recognition, for 6 years and IWGA for 2 years (Indiana Women's Golf Association).  She has owned and operated her own business for over 20 years and has been recognized many times in her industry for her creativity and sales ability.  She is a creative marketing genius that never sleeps and loves being involved in her community,  church and with her family, which brings her to Colorado.
 
  Aaron Herrera, City of Fort Lupton (incumbent)
Aaron has been Fort Lupton's assistant city administrator for approximately two and a half years. Prior to working for the city, I owned and operated a small business for six years and also worked for State Farm and Travelers insurance companies.
 
  Vincent Ornelas, Fort Lupton Housing Authority, Executive Director
Vincent is currently the Executive Director at the Fort Lupton Housing Authority and brings a background of nonprofit management to the board.  As Executive Director of a nonprofit, Vincent has an understanding of the responsibilities and role that a board of director has when serving on a board.
 
  Kevin Paschke, McAda Drilling Fluids, National Marketing Manager
Kevin's professional experience is in a multitude of business and consulting roles. In 200, Kevin founded, Structure, LLC - a firm focused on sales and marketing strategies with the objective of helping clients grow revenues and protect profit margins.  Kevin has also served as the Executive Director of the Williston Chamber of Commerce managing a chamber with 580 members.

Free Small Business Counseling
One of the many benefits of being a chamber member is free small business counseling sessions with the Colorado Small Business Development Center.  Counseling sessions are held twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Thursday at the Fort Lupton Chamber of Commerce office.
