Trying to find a new path in life?

The Chamber Staff recently took a break to get out & see where their walk would lead them and they invite you to do the same!

Hint:  Visiting might just be the key to you finding your path!   You see, Path & Post is a different kind of real estate company where they believe that buying and selling real estate is not only the most important financial decision you will ever make, but it's also one of the most emotional transitions in life. They embrace the responsibility of their role as a guide along the path to your next place.  Path & Post sells more homes in the local market than any other agent or team, but what sets them apart is how they measure success as they focus on the number of delighted clients they assist in transitioning to the next path in life. Their goal is to help you Find Your Path!

Companies today are constantly faced with the challenge of trying to do "more with less".  To achieve your business goals and stay competitive in the market, it requires a highly talented workforce that is managed and motivated to perform at peak productivity and efficiency.  Recent studies show that employee engagement is a critical strategic component to increasing productivity, achieving organizational success, and effectively positioning companies for future growth.

In "Building Your Beach", Jim Bulger, President of WorkThrive Consulting, will discuss how you can increase the momentum and productivity in the employees, contractors, and vendors that make up your workforce.  Jim combines a fun, tropical theme with real-world examples and recent research findings to discuss the various levels of employee engagement and how we, as managers, can positively influence its growth.

Whether you have a team of 5 employees or 500, this workshop will provide you with tools and advice to increase engagement and attain higher levels of performance from your workforce.

UGA SBDC at Kennesaw State Accepting Applications for this year's SBDC GrowSMART™ Program

An innovative exclusive program designed to help established small business owners work ON their business, not just IN it.
The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center at Kennesaw State University (UGA SBDC at KSU) is accepting applications for its 2017 signature program GrowSMART™. This specialized program, designed for established business owners and leaders poised for break-out growth, consists of five day-long sessions held on Fridays, 9am - 4pm on July 28, August 4, August, 11, August 18, and August 25  at the KSU Center, 3333 Busbee Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
"Whether in business for two years or twenty years, many small business owners are so busy working IN their business, they neglect working ON it. The success of the SBDC GrowSMART™ program is the result of its unique holistic approach. Entrepreneurs  learn to analyze and manage their business like a seasoned CEO, discuss best practices among their peers and learn new strategies from experts in key functional areas", explains Drew Tonsmeire, Area Director of the UGA SBDC at KSU.
Georgia Power has sponsored UGA SBDC programs for growing businesses since 2002. Through their support of SBDC GrowSMART™, over 2,000 of Georgia's small business leaders have acquired the tools to take their businesses to higher level.
