CHANDELIER

APRIL 2017
And that's a wrap!
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR AT HOMECOMING 2018
Thanks to all of our Alumni, Family, and Friends who came out to celebrate recovery last weekend. We had around 500 people join us for our many Homecoming activities throughout the three-day event and the marketing team has been busy uploading all the photos taken by our photographers (thanks again, Kinder and Emily!). Be on the lookout for an email later this week with a link to the photo share site.

We will also be announcing our 2018 Homecoming dates soon. It's never too early to enter our annual theme contest either. If you've already got ideas, send them to:

OVER $4,000 RAISED FOR COMMUNITY NONPROFITS AT SLOP BUCKET CHALLENGE
Each year at Homecoming, we raise money during our Saturday afternoon BBQ and Open House event for selected Statesboro community nonprofit partners. This year, our Alumni, Staff, Family, and Friends together raised $4,420 in the infamous "Slop Bucket Challenge" and that money will be split evenly between the Bulloch County Boys & Girls Club and the Averitt Center for the Arts. Thank you to everyone who participated--whether you were there to write checks or get slopped!

AUGUSTA RECOVERY COMMUNITY WELCOMES EVERYONE TO COME OUT AND RIDE (OR JUST EAT AND RELAX) FOR A GREAT CAUSE
Speaking of paying it forward, our friends down the road at the Hale Foundation in Augusta have a fun recovery event coming up this weekend that will raise money to benefit the Hamp Pope Memorial Fund.

To read more about this worthy cause that was lovingly recreated in the memory of a young man who lost his battle with the disease of addiction at the age of 25, please click below:
