We need your help!

We want to make sure you receive your powder in the best possible condition.

This means reducing damaged goods as much as possible. Most often damage occurs in transit, and it may be to the packaging, not to the actual powder. If you do receive damaged goods, here is what you can do to help us and more importantly, you and your powder:

  • Document it on the drivers copy of the bill of lading
  • Document it on your copy of the bill of lading
  • Document it on the delivery receipt.
  • Where possible, take a photo.

These simple steps will provide useful information to the carrier, but also help us when we discuss the issues with the carrier on your behalf. THANK YOU!

IFS awarded business at GE

A beautiful Topaz Metallic developed by the in-house bonding team at IFS, led by Joey Roush, has been selected by GE to protect and decorate their ranges. This hot new color will be applied at Roper and is the result of a lot of hard work by all those involved.

Brian Money, Business Development Manager Appliance, commented "We are really pleased to be awarded this business. IFS is a dedicated, professional player in the appliance market, and with the addition of our "Class A" facility in Ardmore, OK last year, we were really able to take it to another level. Having R&D and our in house bonding team working side by side has enabled us to create beautiful products, which pass the strict specifications that GE requires, as well as offering personal and committed customer service."

Drumming up architectural business?

IFS and Quality Powder Coatings team up to provide education

Earlier this month IFS and Quality Powder Coatings teamed up to provide an AIA approved lunch presentation to around 85 architects at HKS in Dallas, Texas.

Design professionals that are members of the American Institute of Architects require a certain number of learning units each year to attain their continuing education requirements. IFS has an AIA and IDCEC approved presentation which gives attending architects some of the credits they need. The presentation is usually given over lunch and provides a great opportunity to educate and raise awareness of powder coatings and the application services available in the area.

Jim Hester, Sales and Estimating of Quality Powder Coating commented "This session was a great collaboration - great interest from the architects, great questions, and great team work between Quality and IFS. The follow up has been excellent and it's a fantastic way to present valuable information to serious design professionals creating construction projects as we speak."

The IFS Architectural Specification Team works hard to support architectural customers and design professionals in specifying powder and finding capable, quality applicators. Offering lunch and learns is just one of the many opportunities the specification program entails.
