District News
Superintendent's Corner
Happy Friday! As the snow came down this week, we continued our conversations on school safety with various community groups, including the Greenfield and Hales Corners Police Departments. You will be receiving an Infinite Campus message next week with information for the district wide evacuation drill we are running on April 30th. For now, just be sure not to schedule anything that would keep your child from school on that day. Participation in this drill is incredibly important.

I am looking forward to all of the end of year activities that are approaching, like concerts and fundraisers. Tomorrow night, I will be going to the Casino Night being put on by the Whitnall Falcon Booster Club! I hope everyone enjoys the beautiful weather this weekend, and I hope all of our 7th grade learners in NYC are enjoying their trip!

Feel free to contact me at [email protected] and follow me on Twitter !
Board Brief and Agenda
Board briefs are simple summaries of our board meetings. Without having to labor through or wait for the comprehensive board minutes, you can access what changes the board approved at each of their meetings! The latest board brief (for the April 16 meeting) has been posted. Check it out on the right sidebar of our Agendas & Minutes page. Interested in the items being considered at the next board meeting? Check out the board agenda for April 23 on the same page!

Our fifth graders will be going on our third annual camping trip to Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center this coming Wednesday through Friday. The center is managed by the University of Wisconsin-Extension and sits on the Wisconsin River, two miles north of the Wisconsin Dells. With the support of teaching naturalists, students will experience an excellent “river classroom” to study both the natural and cultural history of Wisconsin. Big thanks to our PTO for sponsoring a large portion of this trip and to all those who helped with fundraising efforts. We also appreciate our parent volunteers and staff who will be camping along with our students.
