Whitnall High School
Grades 10-12
For students in grades 10-12, August 29, 2018 is student photo day from 12-3 PM in the small gym. Please enter through the athletic entrance (Door #5) to get your photo taken for the yearbook and for your student ID. If you are interested in ordering any photos, please complete and bring the attached flyer with your payment on August 29th. A “second chance” date will be set later for those unable to attend.
Grade 9
For 9th grade students, August 29, 2018 is our transition day. In previous years, the first day of school was a half-day morning session for 9th grade students. This year, we have set the whole day on August 29th, 7:45 AM - 2:45 PM, to serve as our transition day. On this day, 9th grade students will have individual photos and a class photo taken, collect their technology, and complete important benchmarking assessments. The transition day also includes many activities to grow students’ comfort with the high school environment and ease the transition from middle school to high school. (The photo taken will be used for the yearbook and student ID. If you are interested in ordering any photos, please complete and bring the attached flyer with your payment on August 29th. A “second chance” photo date will be set later for those unable to attend.)

We need 9th grade students to register for August 29th to have an accurate count for lunch and groupings. To register, call or email Rene Freyer at [email protected] or (414) 525-8414.
