Important Information
End of 17-18 School Year
  • Please finalize all 17-18 payments unless you have already made arrangements with the business office.
  • 17-18 Student report cards will be available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal until July 29, 2018

18-19 Online Student Verification
  • All existing students must have their Infinite Campus information verified by a parent or guardian prior to the start of the new 18-19 school year. The verification includes important household, contact, and health information and annual district required forms.
  • Please complete the verification prior to August 13, 2018.
  • Late Fee: $25 per household assessed if verification is not complete by August 13, 2018.
  • Access Online Verification through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal (Click Here for Help)
  • Only existing (current) students need verifying
  • Only primary households can complete the verification (contact the district for information about primary or secondary households (414) 525-8526)
  • Students registered in the spring but who have not started school yet do not need verification
  • Verification Window: June 1 - August 13, 2018
  • REMEMBER TO CLICK SUBMIT at the end of the verification process to complete.
  • You will receive a confirmation email indicating your verification has been submitted.

18-19 School Year
  • Transportation (bussing) information for students will be available in the Parent Portal after August 21st.
  • School fees will be posted to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal after August 1st and can be paid online or in the District Office

Midnight Madness
For those 14 years of age and up: On July 31, the Whitnall Activities Department will be hosting Midnight Madness. This is a free event. Midnight Madness is a kickoff to all activities for the 2018/19 school year. This event will begin at 10 PM at Falcon Field where all can get 1 free root beer float from the booster club, play yard games, and purchase Whitnall apparel all while waiting for the strike of midnight for our football team to take the field for the first practice of the year. At 11:15, all will enter the stadium and the Whitnall Dance team, Cheer team, and Band will perform. Spectator games will be played as well for prizes. When the clock reaches 11:59.45, we will count down until 12:00 when the football team will take the field for the first practice of the 2018/19 season. Please join us for this great event to kick off a great year of activities at Whitnall High School!
2018-19 Course Schedules
2018-19 Course Schedules will be available in Infinite Campus beginning August 1.  There will be no schedule changes after September 3rd  unless you need a class for graduation or you would like to add a class to your schedule. 

Counselors are out for summer break and will return to the office August 20th.  Changes will be made by appointment ONLY between August 20th and September 3rd.

9th Grade Students & Parents
Save the date: August 29th is our 9th grade back to school day. This day is just for 9th grade students to become familiar with the building and complete their transition to high school. This is a full day. 

9th grade students and parents, also save the date for the back to school tailgate on August 31st.  
5:30 PM - Students and parents meet in the auditorium. Parents will stay with administration for a quick presentation and Q&A.
5:35 PM - Students break off for activities with Student Council and DECA.
6 PM - Meet at Falcon Field for tailgate and to claim your food voucher.
7 PM - Football game

Administration Update
The WMS administrative team is looking forward to the upcoming school year. With the team being new for 2018-2019, we'd like to offer some times to connect prior to the start of the school year. August 6 from 10 AM - 11 AM and August 13 from 5 PM - 6 PM - come and meet Bob Antholine (principal) and Krsytle Stingle (assistant principal). Parents/guardians and students are welcome. Check the WMS webpage for additional information and updates as the school year gets closer!
Transition Day for Incoming 6th Grade Students
The transition day for incoming 6th grade students will be on Wednesday, August 29. All 6th grade students will have school from 7:55-3:00 that day to learn about middle school life. Buses and lunch will be provided, just like a normal school day. Families of incoming 6th grade students will receive information about this day in the upcoming weeks.

Transition Day for Incoming K4 and K5
Incoming K4 and K5 Students -  Save the Date for August 29th.
The Whitnall School District is offering a transition day to the 2018-19 school year. Parents/Guardians will be asked to register for this opportunity and more information will be forthcoming.  

Incoming five-year-old Kindergarten students will experience a typical full day in school complete with lunch, recess periods, and specialist classes of physical education, music, art, or library and technology. We encourage all students who are eligible for transportation to take the bus to and/or from school on this day. More details to follow regarding transportation.

Incoming four-year-old Kindergarten students will attend for the half day program per their registration. All students will get to know each other and their teachers. They will be introduced to their school building and playground. Additional school staff will assist in each classroom which will decrease the adult to student ratio.

Back to School Night
Edgerton’s back to school night is scheduled for Tuesday, August 28th. The schedule is as follows:


 4:30 - 5:30 PM New Family Orientation in Main Gym
 5:30 - 6:30 PM Classroom Visits / Supply Drop Off
 6:00 - 7:00 PM PTO Ice Cream Social in Main Gym
 New this year:
 5:00 - 8:00 PM Student School Pictures - Lower Gym
 (If you cannot attend this evening, a make-up date is scheduled in October)
New Family Orientation Meeting
The principal and EES PTO invite new families to attend a meeting on Tuesday, August 28th from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM (prior to the start of our Back to School event). The purpose is to provide helpful information and offer an opportunity for families to ask questions. PTO, Whitnall Youth Sports, and Scouts will be in attendance to provide information and answer any questions you may have.
Let's Do S'more Reading!
Our final summer reading event is scheduled for Thursday, August 9th from 6 - 7:30 PM on the Edgerton playground. We’ll be making s’mores and singing some songs around a campfire. Students can also check out books from the EES library. We look forward to seeing you there. Happy Reading!

Summer Reading
Thanks to the students and their families who have attended our summer reading programs in June and July. The final program is called S’more Reading and is on Tuesday, August 9 from 6 - 7:30 PM. This is an “open house” format, so feel free to drop by and stay as long as you are able.
