How to Win at Sales
Larry Faigh, President, Persuasive Communication
If you're like most business professionals, chances are you hate to sell. You may believe that selling is hard, fraught with rejection, undignified or even unnecessary in this age of digital marketing. But while marketing may bring customers to your door, it takes selling to move them from "I'm just looking" to "I'll take it."
And if the phone doesn't ring enough and you have to get business in order to stay in business, like it or not, you're going to have to sell. According to Sandler sales trainer Larry Faigh, President of Persuasive Communication, the key to successful selling is the same regardless of what industry you are in, or whether you are selling products or services.
The key is understanding what makes people buy and have a sales system in place that provides the framework for a win-win result. In his talk, "How to Win at Sales," your members will learn:
- How they can eliminate the tension-filled buyer - seller "dance by thinking about sales differently
- How they can quickly identify prospects who have the pain, budget and authority to buy
- When it's time to close the sale or close the file and move on

February Ambassador of the Month

The Staff would like to say thank you to Edie Nelson one of our outstanding Ambassadors.

Before joining My Computer Guy in April 2012, Edie's background included a rewarding career spanning over 28 years as an Executive Assistant and HR professional. She brings her expertise to us in the role of Director of Operations and Human Resources.
Edie studied Computer Science at Richland College and has received several recognition and awards throughout her career. She also holds the title as an ISO & TL9000 Internal Auditor. She is very active in the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador and has served as Co-Chair for the Ambassadors. Most recently, she was awarded Ambassador of the Year for 2017.
Edie is married to John Nelson and they have three daughters, Heather, Amanda, and McKenzie, and three precious grandsons. She will tell you she has three other 4-legged children; a Malti-Poo, a Morkie and a Yellow Lab. Her deep affection for dogs is very evident to anyone that knows her! She enjoys spending time with family and close friends, and is always up for a dinner out!
