There are no prerequisites or dogmas to learning Reiki, so anyone can learn it. One you've learned you can begin to give Reiki to yourself or others.

Astrology, in a sense, is a lot like the weather channel. When there's a blizzard blowing outside, it's a good time to stay inside. Nilda's Bio

        Nilda was raised in Puerto Rico and educated with strong beliefs by her Grandmother, (a medicine women) and other Elders in their community, in Spiritualism, Santeria and Natural Healing. Her teachings started at the age of 3 years old. Nilda remembers as a little girl her grandmother bringing her to the spiritual church every Sunday, where she witnessed mediums channeling messages and healings. She knew one day this is what she would be doing.

        Nilda was instructed in the practice of Ancestor Worshipping, the use of plants, many forms of natural healing from various cultures, channeling messages from the spirit world, working with dreams and visions, the power of the mind, various forms of protection, card readings, cloud observing and to respect nature and all living things.

        She presents herself as a Reiki Master to avoid misunderstandings, but Nilda is not really fond of titles. She practices her own truth according to her conscience and knowledge. One thing she does every day is to ask the Creator to send to her people that are in need of healing and to give her the power and the wisdom to help them. Nilda has pride, humility, and the courage to be herself. She would never be false to her medicine and to her beliefs.

        Since moving to Canada Nilda has studied some of the Native Indian traditions, including fire walking, Sacred Pipe, healing with herbs and basket weaving. She has also completed all levels of Reiki and can teach and attune others in this form of healing.
