This portfolio is the culmination of over two years of thoughtful design and layout for wraparound paintings of each Dark Tower novel. This is part of The New Stephen King Cover Series and we've gone one step further to give these paintings a one-time lithograph production, signed by artist Glenn Chadbourne and author Robin Furth, and housed in a unique hard-board, gate-fold, slipcase, with foil stamping. This is truly one of the most beautiful productions we've ever produced. The paintings featured above are just a few of the set to give you a sneak peek.
The irony is that this is literally landing just a couple of months before The Dark Tower movies world-wide release in February 2017. Robin Furth is a consultant on the Dark Tower film as well.

ROBIN FURTH was appointed by Stephen King to help him with the Dark Tower, over sixteen years ago, has become an integral part of this series, and became involved with all things "Dark Tower." Stephen King even appointed Robin to help with each and every new series of original Dark Tower comic stories - yes, Stephen King is involved in each and every story - and she has been working with Sai King for almost two decades. Robin Furth is the only person on par with Stephen King when it comes to the history and knowledge of The Dark Tower and Mid-World. She is the definitive research and story assistant, and author, on a large part of the Dark Tower canon. Robin first discusses the evolution of the Dark Tower with Stephen King and her involvement and how she became to be the "gate keeper " of The Dark Tower story adventures. Her historic essay on the series was created exclusively for Overlook Connection Press and appears here for the first time.
GLENN CHADBOURNE is well known in the horror world of writers, artists, and even in film (if you look close in Stephen King's THE MIST, directed by Frank Darabont, you'll see Glenn's work. Illustrator of so many novels and short story collections, including Joe Lansdale, Douglas Clegg, Rick Hautala, and especially Stephen King special editions. Too many to mention here, but he did create a beautiful two-volume set, The Secretary of Dreams, an illustrated short story collection that spans some of King's best short fiction. Stephen King honored Glenn Chadbourne as he makes an appearance in The Dark Tower novel series as the "Chadbourne dollar." His vision of new cover art for The Dark Tower series is a special moment that we're celebrating here with The Dark Tower Portfolio limited set.
