Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce contributes to their Small Business Enhancement Fund on Small Business Saturday

Business Enhancement Fund at the Foundation.
The check was presented by Chamber President and CEO, Mark A. Trowbridge and Chamber Chairman John Allen on Small Business Saturday. Mayor Jim Cason was also on hand for the event.
The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce celebrates small and locally-owned businesses through on-going training activities and advocacy programs like Small Business Saturday.
In 2011, the Chamber endowed their Small Business Enhancement Fund with the Coral Gables Community Foundation, an organization they helped found 25 years ago. The Foundation funds are raised through their annual community-wide event, Burgerliscious, which takes place each November. Proceeds from this event are presented to the Foundation on a day that is dedicated to promoting the longevity of these local community treasures, Small Business Saturday. Through these funds, and in support of small businesses that are currently affected by the Miracle Mile & Giralda Avenue Streetscape Project, the Chamber is offering a free year of membership to current members directly impacted by the construction, as well as $100 memberships to those who have never previously been members before. Proceeds from the Small Business Enhancement Fund will cover these dues this year and provide for additional support during the construction phase of the project. For more information on this initiative, or to join the Chamber, contact the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce at (305) 446-1657 or visit
