Dedicated to the development of the future stewards of U.S.-China relations
The DEFINITIVE China DC Happy Hour 2018

For those of you stuck in DC during the dog days of August, the Definitive China DC Happy Hour will take place on August 8 at 5:30 PM at the Eighteenth Street Lounge. AMS is co-hosting the event, as we do every year, along with a number of other great organizations. The event is sponsored in part by the US-China Strong Foundation.

This year, we will be joined by Scott Tong , a reporter and former China bureau chief for NPR's Marketplace. Scott will read from his recently published book,  A Village with My Name: A Family History of China's Opening to the Worldand answer questions from the audience.

Happy hour drinks will be available at the bar and patio until 9:00 pm. There will also be plenty of opportunities to meet old friends, make new ones, and learn about the breadth of China-related organizations based in D.C.

Registration is required and can be found  here
