 Principal's Message
Greetings Delaware Trail Families,
I can hardly believe that we only have two weeks before our Winter Break. During the week of December 7th-11th, our PTSG is sponsoring our annual Santa Shoppe. Students should have an envelope with their day to shop listed. This committee does an AMAZING job of finding gifts throughout the year so that our students have really nice items to choose from at reasonable prices!
On Wednesday December 16th, our 3rd and 4th graders have their Winter Musicals at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  Boomer will be visiting on December 17th for our Character Convocation honoring our students who have shown good character this semester. We will wrap up our last day before with our annual all school Holiday Sing Along.
I hope that during this busy season, you are taking time to just "be" and enjoy your family. Take a drive, enjoy the lights, or make hot cocoa and sit in front of a fire. There is no better gift that you can give your child than your time. It truly means so much!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Greene

Detention
As another layer to our behavior system, we will be starting before school detentions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00-8:30 a.m. The purpose of this is to provide another support to address behaviors that are not working inside of the realm of the classroom. Staff will contact the parent to set up a time if your child receives this consequence. Please note that parents will be required to bring their child into the office and sign them in promptly at 8:00 a.m.
We appreciate your support!
