 Principal's Message
Happy Friday Delaware Trail Families,
I hope that you enjoyed your extended break with your families. We sure have enjoyed our first week back here at DT. The students have really missed their friends and their teachers. I have heard many stories of great moments that our children experienced.

If you have not seen or heard, Statewide ISTEP+ data was officially released and Brownsburg had historic highs.  The pass rate for language arts place Brownsburg 4th out of the 292 school corporations in Indiana.  The combined language arts and math pass rate (students who passed both tests) saw Brownsburg in 3rd.  Brownsburg's math pass rate was the highest of all Indiana school corporations - 1st place!  Congratulations to the students and the teachers for all of their hard work!

Please make sure to take a look at our calendar of events coming up in February and March. We have many exciting events taking place leading up to our next break.

Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Greene

Volunteer Criminal Background Check Policy
In an effort to keep our school safe, all volunteers much complete a volunteer application form/criminal background check request and be approved as a volunteer prior to volunteering. The form must be completed at least two (2) weeks prior to the event in which the volunteer chooses to participate in.

Volunteer background checks are completed by the Human Resource Department using the State of Indiana Police criminal records database and the sex offender database.

Volunteer criminal background checks are valid for 3 years. After 3 years volunteers will be required to complete a new volunteer request form and the status as a volunteer will be reconsidered.

Volunteer criminal background checks are required for:
-attending or assisting with class parties
-assisting school staff in the classroom or school building
-having lunch at school building with a student
