Fighting to eradicate the sexual exploitation of children

We will direct our efforts, resources and energy toward the eradication of sexual exploitation, with an emphasis on the sexual exploitation of children. Whether they're victims of trafficking, forced prostitution, online enticement or child pornography
our mission is to end all sex crimes by targeting the DEMAND side of sexual exploitation.
(Demand = Predator)

Special Relationship
Memorandum of Understanding

You can always be assured that The Demand Project is very selective in how its resources are used.  It's our intent to get the most return for our investments whether those assets are our time, our programs or our finances.

Recently we formed a strategic relationship with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and their Internet Crimes Against Children unit (ICAC) in a historic and unprecedented relationship through an agreement known as a Memorandum of Understanding.

The MOU states "Any gift received from The Demand Project

shall be used by the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children unit for the purpose of deterring, preventing and investigating predators who seek to exploit or engage minors in sexual activity through the use of computers and the internet."

This year's tournament took place at the gorgeous Patriot Golf Club residential course in Owasso, Oklahoma.  The winding course was designed by award winning golf course architect Robert Trent

Online Safety Tip
Know their online habits

Teens that encounter an online predator typically will not tell you about the experience for fear of losing their technology. It is critical for you to know and understand their online habits and what social media sites they subscribe to. Require that they give you passwords. As a parent you must invest the time to educate yourself on current technology capabilities and the newest smartphone apps. Have meaningful conversations with them and make sure that they know you are there to protect them. Trust but verify! Talk, listen and don't lecture or they will tune you out.
