FLOODLIGHT FEBRUARY FEATURES
“Serving The Denver Foundation as board chair has been an honor and a true pleasure.”
Ginny Bayless is a familiar face around The Denver Foundation. For the past several years, Ginny has served the Foundation as Chair of its Board of Trustees. As fundholders, she and her husband, Rob, are highly engaged donors who like to get involved with the organizations, and the people, they support.

Read Ginny's reflection on her time as the Foundation's leading Trustee on Floodlight.

"Great Stories change the way we understand other people and, by helping us see things from a perspective that is not our own, change the way we see the world."
Why Storytelling? Hearing another person’s story fortifies our capacity for compassion, empathy, and growth. We want to partner with you to illuminate lives in Metro Denver.

Are you a storyteller? Learn more about  sharing your story  with the Floodlight community HERE .

"Sharing your story can lead to a change of awareness for people who don't know how homelessness can happen to other people."
Dee Clark never expected to have a story of homelessness to tell. She was a wife and a mother. She and her husband had always been able to provide for themselves and their four children.

But the Clarks rented their house and, like more than half of Americans, lived paycheck to paycheck. When the landlord decided to sell his property, Dee and her family were given 30 days to find a new place to live.

Learn more about Dee's story and the Close To Home Storytellers Network on Floodlight.
