Happy new year, everyone! My only resolution this year is to actually stay on top of these newsletters. To that end, I'm trying a newer, cleaner, easier-to-update format. I want to start out 2018 with a little review of 2017:
26,600: The number of people who visited the Library.
7,549: adult books borrowed.
1,636: young adult books borrowed.
10,987: children's books borrowed.
2,017: audiobooks borrowed.
4,221: ebooks borrowed.
1,506: magazines borrowed.
8,755: movies borrowed.
295: CDs borrowed.
196: museum passes borrowed.
126: local history documents consulted.
370: academic articles provided.
2,802: computer and wifi logins.
Overall, it was a good year. We replaced our carpet, built a parking lot, installed a self-serve coffee stand, added ukuleles to the collection, and launched our joint museum pass registration system with the Blackstone Valley Libraries. It'll be hard to top that this year, but we'll try.
Thanks for Reading,
