Volunteer Your Time
Xcel Energy volunteers helping out at the Merrick Food Shelf
Merrick is looking for individuals and volunteer groups that are dedicated to making a difference in their community. 

Currently, we are seeking volunteers to help with food distributions on:

Mondays from 2pm - 5:30pm
Wednesdays from 9am - 12:30pm
Thursdays from 9am - 12:30pm

Selection Sunday is right around the corner! Enter the 
Merrick March Madness "Hooping for Hunger" tournament pool and show off your NCAA basketball knowledge. Winner will be featured in the April E-Gateway newsletter!
 
A suggested donation of $10 is asked for each bracket, which would provide a pasta dinner for an East Side family.

Merrick is Seeking Future Leaders for  Youth Leadership Council

Youth in grades 9th-12th are invited to apply for the Youth Leadership Council (YLC) for the 2017-2018 school year. Participants will gain valuable experience in team building, personal and professional development, as well as resume credentials for jobs and college! The YLC will advise and counsel Merrick's Youth Services programming to be relevant and reflective of the community's needs.
