Volunteer News
February 2017

We want to give a huge shout out and thank you to our devoted volunteers who continue to help out in tremendous ways.

We could not serve our students and families the way that we do without your donations and help with preparing loaded backpacks, sending gifts, and taking item inventory.
You make our program successful and we cannot thank you enough!!

We eagerly await the chance to show you how much we appreciate your time and energy at our volunteer appreciation luncheon this month and we hope to see everyone there!

VOLUNTEER/DONOR APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

This February will mark the one-year anniversary of Ozone House's involvement with The Education Project.  We have many milestones and accomplishments to celebrate
thanks to the tireless and generous efforts of our

And it's time for us to say a proper thank you!
We would also like to hear your thoughts on how we
might be able to better engage the community in the
work that we do.

The Education Project

The Education Project, sometimes known as the Education Project for Homeless Youth, is designed to ensure that students experiencing homelessness or unstable living situations enroll, regularly attend, and succeed in school.  Under the federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, students who are homeless must have equal access to free and appropriate public education

The Education Project works closely with liaisons in the school districts, allies within each school, community partners, and families to identify and serve all youth affected by homelessness.
