Blessed to be a Blessing
Kick Off Weekend!
This weekend we begin our exploration of Blessed to be a Blessing. How are each of us blessed by God and how are we blessings to each other? God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work. – II Corinthians 9:8. We are encouraged to pray and ponder for what purpose God gives us such abundance. Paul’s conclusion is that it is to use our blessing to bless others.
Over the next several weeks, we will explore the declaration that we are Blessed to be a Blessing. How is it that God has blessed us this past year? What is our congregation doing to be a blessing in people’s lives and in the world? How do we feel God is calling us to respond to God’s blessings through our giving to the congregation?

Important dates to remember:
Blessing Brunch Sunday, October 8 after the 10:00 service in the fellowship hall.
Celebration & Commitment Weekend Saturday, October 21, and Sunday, October 22. We will celebrate together the blessings that have been given to us and the blessings that we are to one another in Christ.
