Spring Forward, Worship at 10am & Brunch - March 11
On Sunday, March 11, we will have worship only at 10:00 am, followed by brunch.  The Worship SMA will provide pancakes & sausage; bring something else to share. And don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour!
M&M's for World Hunger
Visit the Red Wall to grab a tube of M&M’s. These tubes will quickly move from feeding our sweet tooth to feeding the hungry; from celebration to Lenten giving. Each tube holds $14 of quarters (cash and checks fit too). Our goal is to raise $7,000 for ELCA World Hunger. Please return M&M tubes on or before Maundy Thursday.

Easter Flowers
One way we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord each Easter is by decorating the Sanctuary with flowers. Your gift of $15 will purchase a plant for the Glory of God that will decorate the church throughout the Easter season. To contribute, write “Easter Flowers” on the memo line of your check or on your offering envelope, then place it in the offering basket or deliver it to the church office. You may also donate at the kiosk in the Narthex (select “Worship & Music Offering) or click here to donate online.
HTLC Advocacy Team - March 15
What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?  Working for justice is part of our discipleship journey showing the love of Jesus to others. Joi n the HTLC Advocacy team on March 15 at 6:00 pm to learn how you and the church might better meet this instruction from Jesus. Contact Pastor Pam or Lisa Cole for more information, or just join us on March 15!
Fair Trade Fair - March 17-18
Stop by the Fair Trade table in the Narthex the weekend of March 17-18 to see a selection of fairly traded coffee, chocolate, tea, and gift items for you to purchase or order.  When you purchase fair trade items, more of the money you spend reaches the farmers and families who grew or crafted them.
Coffee and chocolate make great Easter gifts too.
Family Promise Volunteers
Every day families of all shapes and sizes live without something we all likely take for granted: A home. Family Promise of Greater Des Moines is part of a nationwide network of ministries dedicated to not just providing shelter, but solutions to the problem of homelessness, one family at a time.
Volunteers are needed for Family Promise for our next host week, April 8-15. We need people to cook, drive the van, and serve as evening and overnight hosts. Please consider helping.  Sign up online or visit the Red Wall.
FreeStore Volunteers
The FreeStore is a mission partner of Holy Trinity that collects donated furniture and household items for identified families in need.  The FreeStore is in need of volunteers to call individuals who are donating goods.  Working from your home, use your phone to pull messages from the FreeStore answering machine and then call donors back to schedule a pick-up time. Contact Marty Rathje at 964-2726 or the church office at 964-4348 for more information.
