This session will present the results of the survey on green microfinance by HEDERA and SANAD, shedding light on the status of green microfinance in the MENA region, including existing initiatives and practices by MFIs and their future strategies to enhance customers’ climate resilience. The session will also provide a better understanding of the sector’s current level of development, MFIs’ needs, and the extent of their compliance with local and international standards and regulations.
