Metal Element in Interiors

While there are many facets of feng shui including furniture arrangement, the Bagua Map, space clearing, and even the modern practice of clutter clearing, the five elements are one of the primary tools used to balance the energy in spaces. Feng Shui Tip of the Month: Which bed frame is better according to Feng Shui?  Metal or Wood?

A metal-frame bed can surround your body with a distorting magnetic field while you sleep.  The element of metal is a conductor, so by having an abundance of electronics surrounding you when sleeping, blended with a metal bed-frame creates easier transmission from those appliances to you.

Wood-frames deflect magnetic energy.  They also represent the energy of support when sleeping while also associating with career. A rested body, mind and spirit equals stronger productivity during the day, easier manifesting of new ideas and energy to follow through.

Final Thoughts

Color is one of the easiest ways to shift the energy in your space with Feng Shui. Each color is an expression of one of the Five Feng Shui Elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood.

Remember, scientifically color is light and light is our number one nutrient. Although you might not believe whole-heartedly in Feng Shui, there is definite logic behind the use of color and moods, aka Chromotherapy.
