Weaving Class: Spa Washcloth with Looped Pile  $25
Saturday, August 16th, 10-12pm

Weave your own spa washcloths using a rigid heddle loom, a knitting needle, and cotton and hemp yarn to produce a looped-pile washcloth.

Materials: A rigid heddle loom (or rent one of ours), 8-dent reed, 300 yds of cotton yarn.  We recommend 1 ball of Hempathy for the warp, and 1 ball of Nettle for the weft.  Purchase in store and get 10% off!  Knitting needles will be provided.

Training Sock Class- $35

Sat, August 23rd, 12:00pm-3:00pm

This sock can be completed as a single sock, or for an additional challenge, you can do the cast on twice and knit two at a time.

In order to complete an entire sock during the class, we will be making TINY toe-up, plain Jane socks. If all goes well, in 3 hours, you will learn cast-on, used for 1 or 2 socks, toe increases, turning a heel, and cast off. If two-at-a-time seems overwhelming, you can focus on knitting just one sock.

Since this sock is TINY, you won't need much yarn, but it would be a great way to swatch for a full-size sock!  Please bring yarn and needles, or buy your supplies here and receive 10% off!

Materials:

Sock yarn and sock size needles or

Worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles

You may choose 2 circulars, or magic loop method.
