One Week Until Election Day!

The campaign to bring New Leadership to Phoenix City Council in District 1 is almost over!  Early ballots are being returned and polls open this Saturday at 26 polling centers around the City.  Results we're hearing from volunteers both on the phones and walking neighborhoods is that this election is going to be very close!

We have a few volunteer activities listed below, and we need everyone's help!  We also have an invitation for all of our volunteers to join us at a Results Party on Election Night!

We are so thankful for the literally hundreds of people that have worked on the campaign.  We hope you'll join us for this last push!

Poll Workers!

Polls will be open three days at voting centers throughout the City.  We are looking for volunteers to work at these polling locations on November 5th, 7th and 8th in 2-3 hours shifts.  These volunteers will be the last opportunity Team Frederick has to let undecided voters know about our candidate!

The three locations we'll be working are at the Deer Valley Community Center (19th Ave and Wahalla), the Beuf Community Center (35th Ave and Pinnacle Peak, and Palmcroft Baptist Church (35th Ave just north of Greenway).

Polls are open on Saturday from 10 am -4 pm.  Monday, polls are open from 9 am until 6 pm and Tuesday polls will be open from 6 am until 7 pm.  If you would like to volunteer to hand out information at the polls, please email us what times and which location you will be able to work and we'll get you information and the details!

Phones, Phones, Phones!

Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, we have made thousands of telephone calls to high propensity voters.  Now, we need to reach out to those voters that we expect to head to the polls in person on Election Day!

Volunteers can call from their own home or join us at the Phone Bank at 24th St. and Thomas.  The phone bank runs from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and we provide pizza and beverages so that people who come straight from work don't have to worry about dinner!

50 people making 100 calls adds up to a lot of voter contacts right before Election Day and could be the difference between winning this Election or suffering through 4 more years of Politics as Usual!  Please let us know whether you'd prefer to call from home or join us at the Phone Bank and we'll get everything set up for you!

Neighborhood Walks

This Saturday will be our final neighborhood walk.  We'll be meeting at the Bagel Gourmet on Bell Rd just West of the I-17 at 9:30 AM.  We'll be walking while the polls are open, so we'll be able to let people know where their closest polling place is and encourage them to head down that day to mark their ballots for Eric Frederick!

We'll also be walking each night this week from 4:00 until 6:30 in neighborhoods throughout the District.  If you'd like to join Eric on one of these walks, simply email us and we'll let you know where we're going to be that night!

Whether by telephone or through one-on-one conversations, talking with voters right before Election Day is YOUR opportunity to elect a Councilman who will represent us instead of working on behalf of one special interest group after another.  Please volunteer two hours this week in some way, shape or form to help win this Election for all of us!
