The 2014 Global WIAL Forum took place in New Delhi, India. Ron McLuckie and the WIAL India team organized a splendid event with great opportunities to learn and network. Click here for some learning highlights and pictures from the forum.

The WIAL marketing committee has worked hard over the last months to update the WIAL brand. Clients see the value of certification and training, but - and maybe more than anything else - they expect Action Learning to find them breakthrough solutions for their toughest problem. For Brasil's ELETROBRAS, the benefit from Action Learning is all about the savings created. The company has started to use Action Learning as a methodology in its Lean Office program, and smartly combines Action Learning with well-known improvement tools such as PDCA or TOC. Master Action Learning Coach Shannon Banks shares a part of her experience about addressing those big issues that a team sometimes is struggline with, but which remains in the background. It requires courage on the side of the coach, but in the end, Shannon shares that the team each time moves onto another level if the difficult issue is called out and discussed. Action Learning going strong at BSN
Action Learning is a key foundation of the Business School Netherlands programs, and the school organized a CALC certification session to give selected coaches and students the depth of experience that is required to run full-scale programs. Action Learning is rocking in France now that Daniel Belet and Jean-Michel Cramier from WIAL France just finished a very useful and comprehensive book about Action Learning ... in French ! It is indeed critical that teams can work in their native language, even if they are fluent in English.
