THANKS!

Thanks to Picklepuss Photo for working through the bad weather last week!

Thank you to the third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade Quakerism class for trying something new, doing it with joy, and learning, too. Risk-taking at its finest!
A huge congratulations to Tr. Devon Reichenbach, General Committee member Alice Lenthe, and Business Manager Susan McCardell, who participated in this past weekend's Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk. They trekked 60 miles in 3 days, and in the pouring rain, too! We are SO proud of you!

IN OTHER NEWS ...

Since 2006,  GFS students and their parents have brought energy and f riendship to our next door neighbors at Bellingham and Park Lane senior centers during our Kids Care after school program. To join in on the fun on October 14, fill out this form and return to the school by October 8.

A ll volunteers at Pennsylvania schools are now required to complete clearances under Pennsylvania Act 153. Lower School parents/guardians driving on class trips or interacting with students on a routine basis must provide these clearances to the school office prior to their first visit.  Please read the attached document explaining these new procedures . The document also contains the clearance forms that will need to be downloaded, filled out, and brought to the school for photocopying.

Don't forget to keep clipping  Box Tops for Education! The first deadline is just around the corner. To submit, simply send them in via your child's backpack.
