OUT & ABOUT

Recently during computer class, the third grade participated in a video call with Ms. Julie Salamon, author of the superb children's book "Cat in the City," using Skype and the lab's Promethean board. This wonderful learning experience serves as a fine example of how technology is integrated into the curriculum at GFS. Well done third grade, and thank you Ms. Salamon!

THANKS!

Many thanks to Catherine DeBellis and Lauren DiGiacomo for their leadership on last week's Book Fair. Their innovative ideas and dedication (the fair ran for a full week!) are much appreciated. Thank you also to all who supported the fundraising effort by purchasing books. Finally, thanks to Chester County Book Company for hosting the event and for being a shop local option!

Thank you to Teachers Phyllis, Chris and David for lending their many talents to the All School Gathering. Learning and stretching as a community is what Goshen is all about!

SEEN & HEARD
The first week of our new preschool program, Good Mornings at Goshen, got off to a great start, with kids enjoying home-made play-doh crafts, the sensory table, and some really great food that they helped prepare! See the photo album on Facebook

IN OTHER NEWS ...

Great news from the Book Fair: Total sales were $3,051.01, and the profit for the GPC to extend to the library was $610.20!

All are invited to learn more about the Chester County Food Bank and its programs at a Volunteer Appreciation Day on Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to noon. Join the Food Bank at its location at 650 Pennsylvania Drive in Exton for cooking demonstrations, a garden activity, a scavenger hunt, and more! Food donations are welcomed.

Please note: There will be no Goshen Weekly next week. Enjoy spring break!
