OUT & ABOUT

Our fourth annual concert at Frederick Douglass School was bursting with song, spirit, and love. What a wonderful night!

THANKS!

Thank you to all who made the remarkable concert at Frederick Douglass School a reality once again. The concert was outstanding, of course, and Tr. Charmagne's ability to pull that performance together is of mythical proportions! We are so very thankful for Charmagne's tenacity in getting the idea in motion, FDS Principal Pat Vallot's ability to convince her community to welcome ours to a very special celebration, and Tom Richards' creation of this important tradition for Goshen.

SEEN & HEARD

Lower School students are getting into the spirit of March Madness with a first-ever GFS Tournament of Books. Teachers named their favorite children's books, and each week students will choose winners from a group of pairings. Winners advance to the next round until the favorite is chosen. Look for brackets in the lower school hallway!

IN OTHER NEWS ...

Speaking of the library, the library page has recently been updated on our website!  Tr. Maria would like to remind everyone that monetary donations to the library in honor/memory of someone (especially for a birthday) are always welcome. You can also visit the Goshen Friends Shelfari page if you would like to purchase a book from our wish list.

The GPC is looking for volunteers for the Annual Book Fair at Chester County Book Company, to be held March 9-13.

Tell your friends! Our next All School Open House is Friday, March 13, from 9-11 a.m.

Have you registered yet to Get Going for Goshen? This fun family event is being held Saturday, April 11, with proceeds benefiting the cafegymatheatorium! Find out more on our website.
