OUT & ABOUT

Last weekend a group of GFS 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders traveled to the Miquon School to attend the Diversity Rocks! symposium. It was a wonderfully inspirational day of  diversity-themed activities, including art, music, and movement!

THANKS!

Thank you to all of the participants in our KidsCare program. We have a dedicated crew but always room for more! Also, a special thank you to faculty volunteers who put in a longer day so our students can fully appreciate the Quaker SPICE of community.

Many thanks to Alice Lenthe (mom of 3 alumni and member of the General Committee) and the entire GC for hosting a wonderful dinner on Saturday night for faculty and staff. A great gathering!

Saturday was a busy day for the Goshen Community. Eight 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders attended the first Diversity Rocks! symposium at the Miquon School. Trs. Missy and the Mimis attended the inspiring event. Thank you to all who participated and to Tr. Mimi A., who served on the planning committee for the event, which was sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia Diversity Collaborative (of which Goshen Friends School is a member)!
