President's Dinner - March 13, 2016

On Sunday, March 13, 2016 Queen of Peace High School will honor some of the very best from among the entire QPHS Community who have either gone on to rewarding family, business and professional careers in all disciplines, or who have actively supported QPHS through the years, at the President’s Dinner.

The Queen of Peace High School President’s Dinner is one of three premier annual fundraisers on the school’s calendar. All funding events ensure that Queen of Peace High School may continue to provide our students with a commitment to excellence by fostering the development of knowledge, skills and values.

QPHS to host its' first Midnight Run in February
This coming February, Queen of Peace High School will be hosting its first Midnight Run! Midnight Run is an organization that works to serve the homeless of New York City and provide them with food, clothing, toiletries, and most importantly, someone to talk to. The students, teachers, and staff of Queen of Peace will be driving into the city to distribute some food, clothes, and friendship and we need your help!

Over the next few months, the students, staff, and faculty at Queen of Peace will raise and accept any donations towards the Midnight Run. We are in great need of travel-size toiletries such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, hand lotion, etc. We are also in need of any lightly used, men’s clothing, as well as new underwear and socks. Any local businesses or restaurants that would be willing to donate hot coffee or soup for the night of the run would also be greatly appreciated. If needed, you can see Ms. McFarlane in Room 206 for a formal letter to give out to businesses and restaurants in your town.

2015-2016 Annual Fund

Queen of Peace High School is dedicated to Faith, Family and Future.  Through ongoing curriculum enhancements, technological upgrades, service and leadership projects, sportsmanship based athletics, performing and fine arts opportunities and spiritual awareness and guidance, we have consistently stayed true to our mission of Catholic education that serves each student and leads them towards success.

The Annual Fund was established to assist the school in financing general needs that tuition alone cannot provide.  Gifts to the Annual Fund are Unrestricted and are dedicated to areas of greatest need within the school.  Today marks the beginning of this year’s Annual Fund.

To help keep the rising cost of tuition as low as possible, your gift may be used for:

  • Tuition Assistance
  • Scholarships
  • Athletic Programs
  • Student Services
  • Student Technology
  • Faculty Professional Development
  • Building Maintenance

We invite you today to join us in reaching our 2015-2016 Annual Fund goal of $250,000.
