It's been an exciting month here in Worcester, and if you're following us on Facebook and Twitter, you probably saw some photos we shared of South High students learning all about Memphis The Musical and the Civil Rights Movement that took place during that era. The Hanover Theatre has partnered with the Memphis The Musical tour and South High School for an exciting new initiative called the Adopt-A-School Program.  Stay tuned for more about how your support helped to create this life-changing opportunity.

The educational and community engagement opportunities continue next week as Rudy Giuliani makes a rare appearance here in Worcester!  He'll kick-off the Worcester Connects Distinguished Speaker Series on Wednesday, and attendees will enjoy hearing from him about the issues we're facing here in Worcester and our surrounding community.  Single tickets are available, so buy now to make sure you catch Rudy's presentation, followed by an interactive "Talk Back" session after he's completed the Q&A portion of the program.

Finally, we're thrilled to welcome our one millionth patron tonight with a special recognition before the start of Memphis. It seems like just yesterday I was attending the grand opening, and here we are today entusiastically preparing for our one millionth patron. It's incredible to see how far the theatre and the downtown district has come in such a short time. Thank you for your continued support throughout these last five and one-half years. Here's to a million more!

See you at the theatre,
